Christmas Rush Is On...

10 families + 1 day of shooting = organized chaos! Here is just a sample of the Lenci, Robles, and Doss children. Smiles were easy to come by, finishing up processing the photos...not so much! More photos to come but probably in a about week. :)

Lots of times, parents seem out of sorts when it comes to getting their little ones to smile for the camera, and believe me when I tell ya - I KNOW how you feel. Here is my attempt to get our family's Christmas picture taken, and what started out as a great idea having our two Brittney Spaniels in the picture led to complete chaos! My husband's attempt to keep the dogs in place left him with grass stains all over his jeans. Thankfully Teri, a photographer I work with, was graciously patient! End result = no dogs, unhappy little one, and my hardest attempt to make him smile only that left me forgetting my smile. Oh well, I love this picture as it truly captures our family's personality to a tee!

My busy season has arrived...

Summer has come and gone and now I can't believe the holidays are upon us! Where, O, where did this year go? Anyone? Anyone? Haha Ok...Moving onward and forward....I have a busy Saturday coming up with 10 photography shoots back to back. My Precious is FIVE!!!!

Today especially, I am feeling so blessed that I get to be Julia's MOM!!!! She is my hurricane baby! 5 years ago we evacuated for Hurricane Rita, made the 9 hour drive to Austin and had Julia there! Many teased that if she was a girl, we should name her Rita~But Julia Anne it was. My sweet, but feisty red head is one of the joys of my life. She is FUNNY, smart, beautiful and to me....MY Precious! We have so many nicknames for her I am sure I can't list them all! But here we go.: JUJU(which most of you know), Angel-Pie, Precious, Licious, Nutritious, Poogie, and on and on! On her birthday, I can't help but think that I am the one who gets the GREATEST Gift...Julia!

Wow!!!! What a beautiful occasion for Bianca and Nada's wedding! The blending of two cultures made one of the most fun and exciting receptions I have EVER been too!
